3. Axis for joysticks.
The compact rotary module DM converts a mechanical rotary movement into electrical output signals and thus it can be used for different applications. For example, it extends the control functions of a joystick with an additional axis. For this, the module is installed between joystick and handle and covered by a rubber boot. Installation is possible with various joystick/handle combinations. Other applications are possible, for example, permanently mounted on one side or attachment on a stationary handle rod. The left or right rotation angle is 25° in the standard design, with spring return to center position. An integrated contactless Hall sensor system offers output-side redundant analog signals and 2 digital direction signals. Developed for rigorous requirements and harsh operating conditions, the module shows its reliability in mobile machines (construction, agriculture, and forestry sectors) and in a wide variety of cranes.
