The information on our web pages is designed and intended for use in the territories of the European Union, the European Economic Area and Switzerland. The use takes place according to the following provisions:
General information
We provide various information and data on these pages (hereinafter: content), which we check and update continuously. Despite all care, the information and data on which this content is based may have changed. No liability or guarantee is assumed for the topicality, correctness, completeness or usability of the provided content.
Liability for content
We assume no responsibility for the fact that content can and may also be accessed and downloaded from locations outside of Germany. If users access content from outside of Germany, they are exclusively responsible for compliance with the applicable regulations according to the respective national law. Access to content from countries where this access is illegal is not permitted.
As a telemedia service provider according to Article 7, para. 1 of the German Broadcast Media Act [TMG], we are responsible for our own content in accordance with generally applicable legislation. However, according to Article 8 to 10 of the German Broadcast Media Act, as a provider, we are not obligated to monitor transferred or stored third-party content or to investigate circumstances indicating illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of content according to general statutory provisions remain unaffected. However, liability in this respect only comes into consideration after the time that we have become aware of a concrete legal violation. When we become aware of applicable legal violations, we will remove this content immediately.
Liability for links
We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites to which reference is made via hyperlinks or a similar connection, because we have no influence on such content. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the content of the linked pages. The linked pages were checked for potential legal violations at the time that the link was established. Illegal content was not recognizable at the time that the link was established. Permanent monitoring of content of the linked pages is not reasonable without indications of a legal violation. If we become aware of applicable legal violations, we will remove such links immediately.
Prohibition of commercial use and exploitation
Use and downloading of the content of our websites are permitted exclusively for non-commercial purposes. Further reproduction and use are prohibited and will be prosecuted under civil and criminal law.
Intellectual property
We retain our intellectual property rights - such as the copyright for items published by us on our pages. Duplication and/or editing and/or distribution and/or any (other) exploitation of such items (e.g. images, graphics, design, audio files, video sequences, programs and text) in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without our express written approval. If the intellectual property rights belong to a third party, the express written approval of the holder of rights (e.g. authors, photographers, programmers or other creators) is required.
Insofar as we have not created the content on our pages ourselves, the intellectual property rights of third parties are observed. Third-party content, in particular, is identified as such. Nevertheless, should you become aware of a violation of intellectual property rights, we request notification. If we become aware of applicable legal violations, we will remove such content immediately.
Suspension of service
We expressly reserve the right to change, amend, delete or temporarily or permanently suspend publication of our web pages or change the URL without prior notification.
Objection to advertising email
We hereby object to the use of contact information published in the scope of the legal notice requirement to send us advertising and information material that we have not expressly requested. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action in cases of unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam email, etc.
Miscellaneous
Insofar as parts or individual formulation of these terms of use should not or no longer reflect the relevant legal situation, the remaining parts of the terms of use remain unaffected with respect to their content and validity. German law (to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods) applies for legal disputes related to the use of our telemedia services, even when the services are offered or provided in another state within the European Union or the European Economic Area, insofar as nothing different is indicated from the rules of private international law. The court of jurisdiction is Stuttgart.
